Reviews:

"Ms. Frizzle never ceases to amaze not only children but also adults. A beloved classic series, the Magic School Bus doe not disappoint us with this particular book. I do not know one child that has never wanted to be a part of Ms. Frizzle's class and go on all the explorations and journeys as their class does. While the children are enjoying reading this perfect book by Cole, they do not realize that they are actually learning a great deal of information about dinosaurs and fossils. There are many things that the children in the book learn about the dinosaurs and the time period, and those reading the book will learn the information right along with them. The illustrations in the book depict fossils and dinosaurs perfectly and children will be able to enjoy the words on the pages as well as the drawings."

"The Magic School Bus in the Time of the Dinosaurs is about Ms. Frizzle and her class. They go on a dinosaur dig, but it gets changed into a time travel trip back to the time of dinosaurs. The students learn much more about them by seeing the dinosaurs in action.

The book is accurate and authentic because it covers different ages and different dinosaurs and how scientists think that they lived. The information is presented in an organized way. The book starts out at the beginning of the school day and goes on through out the day. It doesn't skip around through out the day. The book is appealing to children because it is colorful and having the book set in a classroom with a teacher and students will allow for children to be able to relate to it. The author's writing style is clear. It is easy to read and is easy to follow.

This book is good to use in a dinosaur lesson. It goes through different dinosaurs and will teach the children about them."
