In celebration of #BuySingLit, My Imagination Kingdom has teamed up with sensory specialists, Tickle Your Senses to bring you Storytime with Bo Bo and Cha Cha's Big Day Out by Jason Erik Lundberg!

Words come alive in this multi-sensory experience, enabling children to see, hear and feel the story. Sensory play stations will be set up with materials such as playdough, playdough mats, accessories and figurines, themed around the book so as to draw children into the story.

After a storytelling session with the picture book, children will be encouraged to explore their understanding of the concepts and ideas discussed in the book through specially designed playdough mats that allow them to recreate scenes related to the story, while emphasising literacy and linguistic acquisition.

To register, parents must purchase a copy of the book, priced at $14.90 and select one of the workshop timings below on the 25th February:

Workshop #1: 10am to 11am

Workshop #2: 11am to 12pm

More about Bo Bo and Cha Cha's Big Day Out:

Bo Bo and Cha Cha have settled comfortably into their new home at the Mandai Zoo, and are ready to explore Singapore. Having heard so much about what this country has to offer, they come up with a long list of places to visit. However, Perang the pangolin advises them that it would take too long to see everything, so they end up visiting the Istana, taking a bumboat ride on the Singapore river, flying kites at the Marina Barrage, eating at a hawker centre in Toa Payoh, and even playing on swings!

Review:

"Cute story. I really enjoyed touring Singapore with Bobo and Chacha. Brightly coloured illustrations that children will like. Will be recommending to my Singaporean friends."
