Alex and Conner Bailey's world is about to change, in this fast-paced adventure that uniquely combines our modern day world with the enchanting realm of classic fairy tales.

"The Land of Stories" tells the tale of twins Alex and Conner. Through the mysterious powers of a cherished book of stories, they leave their world behind and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with the fairy tale characters they grew up reading about.

But after a series of encounters with witches, wolves, goblins, and trolls alike, getting back home is going to be harder than they thought.

"OMG! This book was fan-freaking-tastic! I really loved this book! It was (Not WAS IS one of my favorites of the year. I'm so glade I picked this book up. Onto my next book!(:"

"When twins get sucked into a magical fairy-tale book, they soon find out that they are in a world where fairy tales are real. This was the best book I have ever read so I rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. I loved this book because it took me inside of it and I was really into it. I loved how Chris Colfer explained every detail of this book. This was one of the few books where authors explained every detail. One of the characters I really relate to is Alex. I feel like I really relate to her because she is the one that is really smart and she also bonds with her teachers really well. I really like reading book series and hadn’t found one that drew me in like this one did and I am excited to read the rest of the series. I would definitely recommend this book to Isabela. I think she would really like it because she said she really likes fairy-tales."
