"We have loved this book in our house for many years. It is a really cute rhyming book about a magic hat that lands on the head of different people and changes them into an animal. It is so much fun to read (and sing if you are so inclined) and the kids love guessing what the animal is that rhymes with the previous text.

It is a wonderful classroom or group activity book, especially with preschoolers because you can pass a hat around and ask them what kind of animal they would be, then they can act that animal out and pass the hat on to the next child. All while singing, "Oh, the magic hat, the magic hat, it moves like this and it moves like that!"

"This book is one of my favorites. I have read this to my kids so many times that they can recite the whole thing & I just turn the pages.
